Here’s How To Use Same WhatsApp Account On Two Phones 2023
The new update only allows the tablet version of WhatsApp to show a QR code to link to the main phone, but following the given trick you can make the WhatsApp app think that your secondary device is a tablet.
First, make sure the latest beta version of WhatsApp is installed on both of your phones (Don’t open WhatsApp app on your second phone now). Enable developer mode on the other phone by going to About phone in settings and then tapping the Build number 3 times.
Now go to the developer options and look for the Smalled width option. If you can’t find this option, you can use the search bar in Settings to find it. Open the Smallest width and change it to 600 and It turns your phone into a tablet interface. Icons and fonts are small, don’t worry they will return to normal size later. Also please Note down the current number to revert it back to default.
Open WhatsApp on a second phone, select your language and tap accept and continue, and you’ll see a unique QR code on your phone. Now open WhatsApp on your primary phone and tap the “three dots” in the top right corner and then tap on Linked devices to pair with the secondary phone. It will show you a QR code scanner to scan the code on your other phone. That’s it, now your second phone is using the same WhatsApp account as the main device.
Note if you don’t see the QR code on the second phone instead it is asking you to log in with your phone number, then type the higher number in the Smallest width option and try again.
To return to the original interface on your secondary phone, type the default value in the Smallest width. Don’t worry your WhatsApp will still be linked to your account.
Now you will receive messages, calls other options in general on both devices. The best part is that WhatsApp works independently on your both devices. This means you can use WhatsApp on your secondary device even if your main phone is not connected to the internet. Your main phone remains the primary device to control your WhatsApp account.
